New Year / New Cycle! 🧬
The Artist Rebirth Cycle is now offered as a self-paced video course!
Dear friends and members of The Pack,
Birth announcement! I’m excited to announce a new self-paced, video version of my favorite course, the Artist Rebirth Cycle (ARC)! As some of you know, the content of this course— which began as a metaphor—turned quite real at the closing of the last Cycle. After learning I was pregnant, I made the slow, hard decision to close The Pack Studio in Chelsea, and to focus my energy on the epic endeavor and research opportunity ahead.
I enrolled myself in actual birthing classes, experienced the simultaneously glacial and flowing pace of gestation, and journeyed through the trimesters as an animal, an artist, an ancestor, and by biological standards: officially a mother. I got to explore the contents of the ARC from beyond the veil of metaphor, and as I prepared for the labor and delivery of my first born— and of myself into motherhood— I also made this course for you.
Written and recorded during my 9th month of pregnancy, the *new* Artist Rebirth Cycle is both a capstone to my baby’s gestation and to the years long project of this infinitely expanding course. While this version of the course is a substitute for my maternity leave (the stunningly difficult and not-to-be-missed-beautiful first weeks of my baby’s life) it also feels like an artwork in itself. Produced in collaboration with Paraphrase Studio, a new video production company co-founded by Kate Parvenski of the original ARC 2022 cohort, this course came to life in its own cycle of kismet flurry and flow.
And while you’re here, I’d also like to announce the birth of my baby, Aeon (Ee-on) Grass Geocos! Born on the evening of 8/6/25 after a long, confounding labor, but perhaps many lifetimes of preparation.
